Setting the Default Chart Type

1. The default chart type is applied when you use F11 to create your chart

Excel 2003 users

2. Click Chart | Chart Type

Excel 2007/2010 users

2. Click Design [tab] Change Chart Type

3. Select the chart type you want to make the default

4. Click Set as default chart
